Wednesday, January 5, 2011: Assistance call, report of pickup truck in ditch on Rochford Road 8 miles West of Hwy 385, possible back injury. Engine 1 with 2 personnel, POV with 3 personnel, POV with 1 person responded, 1 person standby at Fire Hall. Johnson Siding E7 and Nemo B4 also on scene, one person transported in Med 3 to Rapid City with possible back injury. Thursday, February 3, 2011: Assistance call, report of a vehicle accident on Mystic Rd 1.5 miles east of Rochford Rd. 3 Personnel responded POV to the site. Found an overturned vehicle on the side of the road, no action taken. Personnel responding: J Elcock, D Robertson, D Cromes.
Thursday, April 28, 2011: Motorist stopped by Fire Hall at 1105 to alert of downed power line arcing and smoking 1/4 mi N of Rochford on N Rochford Rd. Called LC Dispatch to let them know we were responding at 1107. BH Coop arrived 1515, E3 and B4 remained on scene for traffic control and sawyer duties until 1545. Personnel responding: EHague, DRobertson, BHague, DCromes, and MCromes.
Tuesday, May 24, 2011: The department was dispatched to do hazard control in the Wyoming region of the district. A propane tank rolled off its platform and down an incline. Department members remained at the site until the propane company representatives arrived. Personnel responding: DCromes, DRobertson and JWolters.
Thursday, 23 June, 2011: Report of an illegal campfire 1.5 m E of Bloody Gulch on Rochford Rd – fire was extinguished by arrival. Personnel responding: D Cromes, D Robertson, M Neubauer in Brush 4.
Wednesday, 29 June, 2011: Fire Alarm activation at 22904 S Rochford Rd – false alarm, cancelled prior to leaving fire hall. Personnel responding: D Robertson and E Hague.
Friday, 1 July, 2011: Fire Alarm activation at 22904 S Rochford Rd – false alarm, spoke with property manager and reported to Penn Co as a nuisance alarm. Personnel responding – D Cromes and D Robertson in Engine 3
Tuesday, 5 July, 2011: Pennington County requested a spot check for flash flood watch. Personnel responding – D Cromes, E Hague and T Nielsen in Brush 4.
Monday, 18 July, 2011: Mutual Aid to Hill City for Castle Peak Rd house fire. Assisted in extinguishment and overhaul. Personnel responding: D Robertson, R Corey in Tender 2; D Cromes, E Hague in Engine 1; J Wolters and C Wolters in Engine 3; M Cromes POV.
Wednesday, 20 July, 2011: Medical call for motorcyclist down on N Rochford Rd, victim had left scene with other persons prior to arrival. Personnel responding – D Cromes, J Wolters, C Wolters in Brush 4; Tr Nielsen and M Cromes at Fire Hall.
Tuesday, 20 September, 2011: Self - dispatched to a confirmed structure fire within our district that had been paged out to Brownsville. Personnel Responding - D Robertson and Tr Nielsen in Engine 3, D Cromes and M Bond Cromes in T2, N Burleson POV.
Tuesday, 4 October, 2011: Wildland fire report S of Rochford near Castle Peak. Assisted in locating the fire and guiding the USFS vehicles in to the site. Personnel Responding - D Robertson, C Wolters and J Wolters in E3.
Monday, 7 November, 2011: Medical call Rochford Rd, unresponsive elderly female with low blood sugar. Assisted Medic 3 upon arrival to scene. Personnel Responding - T Nielsen and M Bond Cromes in Brush 4.
